Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey (85/15)
- 1 (4oz) can green chilis
- 1 cup cilantro, chopped
- ½ cup onion, diced*
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder, or spice powder of choice
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 10 butter lettuce leaves

- Olives
- 1 serving guacamole
- 1 serving vegan feta cheese
- Microgreens
- Paleo mayo
- Mustard
- Hot sauce
- *To make FODMAP Friendly use green parts of 3 green onions. Use FODMAP Friendly toppings like microgreens, mustard and mayonnaise.
Directions
Heat a BBQ or an indoor grill pan over medium-high.
In a large bowl, add the ground turkey through sea salt and use hands to gently knead together. Form 4 patties. Coat both sides with cooking spray and lay on the grill.
Cook for about 5-minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°. Let rest for 3 minutes.
Assemble the burgers by placing atop one lettuce leaf, adding toppings and layering the last leaf on top.
Add more fat to this meal by using toppings, or, choosing a higher-fat side dish or salad with an oil-based dressing.
